We love English Mastiffs and we set out to breed the best. “Best” is subjective but the perfect English Mastiff to us is one that has the color, head, intelligence and unwavering courage of Maggie (grandmother) along with the incredible size and tenacity of Zeus (grandfather). Zeus is huge and very, very smart. This union spawned Layla which was the pick of the litter and as close to a perfect female as we can imagine (up until now).

 

Concurrently I was searching the world over to find a sire to eventually be Layla’s mate. He had to possess a great genetic foundation to rival that of Zeus (no easy feat). I almost gave up finding a male that was of equal or greater quality than Zeus but after months of research, I finally found the Semper Fi Gropetti Gargoyle (grandfather of Tank) blood line.

 

Semper Fi Gropetti Gargoyle won several “Best of Breed” and “Best of Show” awards along with the Westminster Kennel Club and was arguably the best English Mastiff in the world at his prime. His son was mated with a wonderful large breed of unquestionable quality and I had to get the pick of this litter.

 

To get the pick of this fantastic litter, I had to wait over a year and go to Alaska. The result was TANK. Impeccable credentials, unrivaled healthy ancestry, with genetics that included very large English Mastiffs that won several championships (like his grandfather, Semper Fi Gropetti Gargoyle). He was expensive. Tank was $3,500 plus shipping and I have never regretted one red cent. I had finally got two beautiful mastiffs that possessed unbelievable blood lines and I was sure that they would produce exceptional pups.

 

Now, I had to wait for both Tank and Layla to grow up to make sure they turned out the way we had hoped. They did not disappoint. Both are show stoppers.

 

Finally, they mated and we are incredibly excited about the outcome. This is the first of two scheduled litters. Extra large, above average height, big box head with a black mask, incredibly intelligent, proven healthy genetics, and there should be at least one that will have the ability to dominate any AKC English Mastiff shows.

 

This group of pups represents almost 10 years of preparation and planning!

 

We are located on 20 beautiful acres in Brown County Indiana which is in between Indianapolis and Louisville Kentucky.
